Despite my best intentions, I’ve completely lost track of how many days I’ve spent in the brewery. Lately, my weekdays consist of reporting to the brewery at 8:30am for an educational/grueling day of beer related happenings followed by the dinner shift at the adjoining restaurant. It’s a long day, but hopefully it’ll pay off one day when I can consider myself a real brewer.
After my last post depicting my day as a keg scrubber, I’ve assisted in a multitude of beer related activities.
Keg scrubbing? Got it.
Tank sanitation? Done.
Brewing? ohhh yeah.
Slowly but surely, I am amassing the skills that will allow me to be a brewer. A profession which in my mind, is the most desirable position in the entire world.
